On the afternoon of 24th March, Duton’s International Group held a large-scale event at our Tianjin office for the preparation of the upcoming spring auction, gathering almost hundred art collectors, dealers and specialists to join. During this event, Duton’s received many precious pieces for authentication, valuation and consignments, including the works by important Chinese artists such as Xu Beihong(1895-1953), Ren Bonian(1840-1895) and Kang Yuwei (1858-1927), exquisite ceramic and porcelain pieces from Ming and Qing Dynasty, as well as a rarely seen collection of snuff-bottles. Together with the participators, Duton’s shared a lovely afternoon in exploring a wide range of Chinese art and antiques.
The requisitions for the consignments will end on 3rd April, and the spring auction will be held on 29th April 2018 in our Tianjin office. Duton’s will hold a selling exhibition two days before the auction, inviting everyone who is interested with Chinese art to join the appreciation.
Duton’s International Group is now looking for the consignments from overseas and domestic collectors for the upcoming selling exhibition Appreciation of China: The Exhibition of Chinese Legacy in London, UK, in May 2018. We will assist with authentication and valuation, and once we have determined that your property is appropriate for sale at auction, our specialists will discuss with you about further details and the relevant documents.
